Finally managed to get a job. Its serving and crap at Mocha Joes, but considering my financial situation, I'll take what I can get.

Went to Richmond to see Coraline last night. They kicked ass, especially compared to the other bands that were there, but for some reason the show was held in the parking lot in front of Hastings and the store managers closed down the store halfway through their set. Bitches. But, Jackie went with me, and that made it 67 times better.

Ok, now for something offensive but delightful...

Ozzfest was awesome, even though I'm burnt to a crisp.  I'm vaguely stopsign-esque.  I have a bunch of pictures, I'll post them as soon as I get less lazy.

I had heard Shadows Fall before, but recently discovered that they have 3 songs that are nothing short of, I kid you not, relaxing.  I had only really been familiar with songs like "Destroyer of Senses" and "What Drives The Weak", but since I picked up the album The Art of Balance, I was pretty surprised.  Those two songs give them the impression of being nothing but hardass metal, while the songs Casting Shade, Prelude To Disaster, and Lead Me Home (from a different CD) are really... well, pretty.  If you wanna hear 'em, IM me and I'll send 'em.

Also, Ozzfest is tomorrow, and I get to see 'em.  I'm excited.

But ok, enough music rant for the time being. 

Same old summer things going on.  Yeah, thats another way of saying "jack shit is going on".  In a week I'm leaving for Hilton Head with the family- yeah, mom's side.  I'm sucking it up because I want to see my step brother and sister, and plan on trying to keep things peaceful between my mother and I.

So, Jimmy had his graduation party. Talk to me personally for the details of that one.

4th of July was alright, because I <3 fireworks.

And swimming with Jackie, Jimmy, and Nick.

My stomach kind of hurts.

I had a dream where I got two tattoos of those stupid little Smarties candies on my hips, but they were growing strings (I dont know either), so they had to get dug out with a knife.

I re-did my hair color crap because I had roots growing in like mad.

Got back from Cedar Point with Jackie the other day.

She and I left for 3 days, making the 4 and a half hour trip in the midafternoon and staying in a hotel a couple minutes from the theme park.  We took her car.

Went on, I think, every roller coaster in the park.  Cedar point has been, for the past 7 years, rated the best theme park in the world.  They have more record breaking rides than any other park.  I'll spare you details, except the ones about how she and I almost died.

Tomorrow is officially my last day of school. I go in at 9:30, and leave 2 hours later. It'll feel good to be a senior. My last exam is a project for Sports/Life.

I dont even know why I opened this up. I dont have a lot to say.

School is almost over, I guess. Its impossible to believe how many people I see every day that are going to be leaving forever. How many of them I'll never see again. Makes me wonder if theres anything I should say to them first.

It also means one more year until I have to start figuring out my own shit for my life. God, I feel so far behind in that whole stupid game. Like I should know so much more by now than I do. Fuck.

Looking at new cars since my cougar is with my mom. Well, new used ones. New to me.

Summer should be okay. I'm not sure if I'm going anywhere (nobody tells me until at max a day or two ahead of time), but I'm going to try to find a more steady job and such.

Also, its supposed to be a great summer for concerts, even though I dont think this years lineup for Warped is even comparable to last years (yeah, even though I couldnt get there). Anyone interested in coming with me?
